i mean, again, why do you have to choose apple or samsung? sell shelves during the gold rush and sell chains during the smartphone wars. that's the way to go, and qualcomm just raised their dividend. a good buyback plan now. they are terrific. >> i've got a question for you. you do a lot of asset allocation, keep talking about the great rotation going over five years. are you starting to advise your clients to lighten up on bonds and go more into equities or just sticking with equities? how do you see that? >> asset allocation for wealthy individuals includes everything so we have stocks, bonds, a lot of cash. wealthy individuals hold over 25% cash generally. >> are you moving more out of bonds into equities as a lot of people are talking about? >> we've had a lot of buy and hold bonds. had great bonds that we bought three years ago. you won't get the coupon when the bonds mature so as the bonds mature you really have to look at where else can you get yield and, unfortunately, you won't get the yield in the high grade corporate bonds. you hav

. >> i think it's three things, the first was samsung was going to launch its phone and it turned out to be not a threat. blackberry is launching and the jury is out. the third thing is that it's the should have, would of, could have, it's all the people sitting there saying, damn it, i should have bought it at 430 and now are chasing it higher. >> what about the fact you're going into a weekend, people are speculating about the dividend. >> right. which was done this time last year. >> exactly. when we were down in orlando covering an event and doing our show from there, the dividend was announced on a monday morning at the same time of year. so people are clearly at least some people trying to get ahead of what they perceive to be a moment that's going to happen sooner rather than later, right, weiss? >> greed, greed. >> isn't that part of it? >> and the stock traded up into the dividend announcement but it was only up 3% afterwards. >> but the stock did not move in the weeks that followed aggressively but it did move over the course of the next three to six months. so from that mom

a few weeks, everybody was worried about samsung, the new phone that came out. it came out, launch it last week and didn't surprise anybody except for people bullish on samsung and negative on apple think they'd lose more share. there's really nothing new there. the screen is a little bigger. that competitive thread gone, blackberry launch is actually going okay in terms of pre-orders from what i've heard. that's not enough to derail apple. to me, apple is still right now a product story. if you're buying it, you're putting faith you will have innovation when there is a new phone. when they announced the dividend last year, the stock was up 3%, not a new move, not why anybody is buying. >> how long will you hold it for? >> until i'm stopped out. that's not necessarily what i'm logging for. you had the high beta move in ikea and ikea has fallen back significantly. there is a secular challenge that blackberry faces the same secular challenge, blackberry is getting to the moment you have to have patient as whitney told us on this desk, i think blackberry is setting
